Bantey Chhmar Temple, located along the National Road 659A about 59 kilometer from Phnom Penh, is a historical site which was built in 12th centuries by the king Jarvarman VII.
During the civil war this temple was mostly ruin. Nowaday most part of the temple has been restored but there are still not as good as before.
